We created our song using a video from 2010, showing the Harvard football coach giving a motivational speech after another victory. The coach’s use of language to encourage and motivate the players stood out to us. His words were bold and confident, and created a larger-than-life atmosphere out of a simple locker room. We sought to use that victorious energy to make a song that made all listeners feel like winners.
